Donna Francesca PGI Verona White

Donna Francesca is a white wine from selected grapes. Clear and straw-colored with some golden notes due to aging. On the nose it first releases fine fragrances of flower and fruit, especially exotic fruit; shortly after, more complex aromas like honey and almond are released.
On the palate it is fresh and savory, with good persistence, leaving a pleasant sensation of non-aggressive fruit in the mouth. It is hard and encompassing.

Grapes and harvest Espaliered

Garganega and Chardonnay grapes pruned according to the Guyot system. On a limestone and shallow soil, we grow 5,700 plants per hectare. Yield amounts to approximately 90 quintals per hectare and harvest is entirely by hand

Vinification and refinement

Vinification of both grapes is made in steel and separately. The final blend is let to rest in medium-sized oak barrels and refines on its own lees until bottling.

Pairing

Excellent when paired with fish or vegetable-based pasta dishes. Also recommended with medium-aged cheeses and white meats.
