White PGI Verona White ORGANIC

White PGI Verona White ORGANIC The San Mattia WHITE is clear and straw-colored with greenish notes. On the nose it immediately gives out young fragrances of flowers and fruit, especially citrus and white flowers; shortly after, more complex aromas of exotic and yellow-fleshed fruit are released.

On the palate it is fresh and savory, with medium persistence, leaving a pleasant sensation of non-aggressive fruit in the mouth.

With its 12% vol. alcohol content and light and lively body, the San Mattia White is a pleasant wine suitable for celebrating all peaceful moments of daily life.

Grapes and harvest

Espaliered Garganega and Chardonnay grapes pruned according to the Guyot system. On a limestone and shallow soil, we grow 5,700 plants per hectare. Yield amounts to approximately 90 quintals per hectare and harvest is entirely by hand.

Vinification and refinement

Vinification of both grapes is made in steel and separately. The final blend is made in steel and the wine rests in bottles for one year before being served.
