During the entire year a large number of events and operas are performed in the Verona Arena and many exhibitions are also organized in the "Verona Fair". The Agriturismo San Mattia suggests two among these important dates.

April: the wine is exhibited in "Vinitaly"

"Vinitaly" is now an international appointment for all wine lovers. The International Wine and Spirits Exhibition (Vinitaly) is every year organized with a new topic regarding wine and not only:

Production, vineyards, quality of the territory that is transformed into production quality, men that have committed their lives to the production of an excellent wine. all these topics are developed during the exhibition.

Vinitaly is all this: the place where every year people in love with this world can meet each other.

December: Nativity scenes at the Verona Arena

The suggestive frame of the Verona Arena lodges every year the "Rassegna internazionale del presepio nell'arte e nella tradizione" (International Exhibition of Nativity scenes on art and tradition). The comet, symbol of this event, is set on the Verona Arena that opens its doors to the visitors every day from December 1st, up to approximately mid January.

The international exhibition of nativity scenes arrived to the 25th edition; it is a highly artistic appointment: whoever wishes to spend a weekend in Verona during this period must visit this exhibition.

Inside the Arena, with a suffused light that increases the construction's charm and induces the visitor to move slowly and silently, one of the world's largest collections of nativity scenes is set.

Every year approximately 400 nativity scenes belonging to private or public collections are exhibited during the entire month.
